Facebook has decided to continue the ban on the social media platform of former US President Donald Trump. While the ban includes Instagram owned by Mark Zuckerberg, the Facebook Supervisory Board stated that the indefinite and indefinite suspension is not ‘appropriate’ and will re-examine the issue within six months. Facebook Supervisory Board has 20 members consisting of lawyers, professors, journalists and human rights activists.
Trump’s Facebook accounts were suspended right after the raid on the Congress building at the rally held on January 6, after he did not accept the presidential election results in November.
