According to a written statement from the Moroccan Prime Ministry, Osmani reiterated Morocco’s support for the Palestine issue to Heniyye during the meeting.
In the statement, it was noted that Osmani described the Palestinian issue and Jerusalem as Morocco’s national issue.
Osmani, “Any action of the occupying administration that violates the legal status of Jerusalem and Masjid al-Aqsa and the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people is unacceptable.” said.
Stating that Morocco’s full support for the Jerusalem issue under the leadership of King Mohammed 6, the Chairman of the Jerusalem Committee, Osmani added that there has been no change in his attitude towards the establishment of an independent Palestinian state whose capital is Jerusalem.
Osmani was also noted to praise the “heroic” Palestinian people for their determined struggle against Israel’s hostile attacks in the Gaza Strip.
