TCDD Taşımacılık AŞ General Directorate, in accordance with epidemic measures and gradual normalization and in line with the decisions taken at the Presidential Cabinet Meeting, the regulation on YHT, Marmaray, Başkentray and regional passenger train services, effective from 17 May, when the full closure application will end did.
Accordingly, YHTs will serve with a 50 percent capacity within the social distance rule on Ankara-Eskişehir-Istanbul, Ankara-Konya and Konya-Eskişehir-Istanbul lines and will make 22 trips a day.
It will be mandatory to submit the HES code during the provision of train tickets. YHTs will make voyages according to their tariffs before the full closing application. Combined transportation with YHT connection will be made between Konya and Karaman.
Regional trains will also be operated according to the pre-closure schedule.
Marmaray will serve at intervals of 30 minutes on the days with curfew, 8 minutes between Zeytinburnu-Maltepe and 15 minutes between Halkalı and Gebze on other days.
Başkentray, on the other hand, will be operated at intervals of 15 minutes between Sincan and Kayaş on the days when there is no curfew, and at 30 minutes intervals on the days when there is a restriction.
While the YHT, Marmaray and Başkentray train timetables and times were changed due to the complete closure between April 29 and May 17, regional train services were suspended.
