Interior Minister Soylu shared a table titled “European Drug Report 2021” on his social media account, which includes the numbers of various drugs seized in Europe and Turkey in 2021.
Minister Soylu, emphasizing that Turkey’s fight against drugs is greater than that of European countries, said, “Europe has difficulties in finding ‘goods’. Without our fight against drugs and the arrests, Europe would have surrendered completely to drugs,” he said.
The table shared by Minister Soylu includes the amount and number of drugs seized in Turkey and Europe in 2021. According to the table in question, it was stated that the amount of heroin seized in Europe was 8,624 kilograms, while this number was 20,165 kilograms in Turkey.
In the report, it was reported that the amount of ecstasy seized was 5 million 444 thousand 451 in Europe, while 8 million 695 thousand 605 ecstasy was seized in Turkey. In root cannabis, the number of 3 million 686 thousand 428 in European countries was recorded as 42 million 276 thousand 694 in Turkey. The table also includes the statements “We cut the lifeblood of terrorist and criminal organizations”.
