Spokesperson of Afghanistan Ministry of Internal Affairs Tarık Aryen said in a statement to the press that the number of those who lost their lives in the bomb attack held yesterday in front of the Seyid-ü Şüheda School in the Daşt-i Barchi region of Kabul rose to 50.
Expressing that the number of those injured in the attack exceeded 100, Aryen stated that he was worried about the further increase in the death toll.
Aryen noted that the attack was carried out first by the bomb-laden vehicle and then by detonating two separate bombs placed in the area.
The education centers have immunity to war and arguing that this attack is a war crime, Aryen held the Taliban responsible for the attack.
No one claimed the attack yet. The Taliban, on the other hand, announced that they had no connection with the attack and that they condemned the attack.
According to the Afghanistan government, violence in the country has increased considerably since the withdrawal of foreign forces for about a week.
